    Description

    Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    First published by Whitman Publishing Co. in the same year, this is an early edition from David McKay.

    Illustrated with nine colour plates, and numerous monochrome illustrations, from 'the staff of Walt Disney Studios'.

    Collated, complete.

    Produced to coincide with the release of the 1935 animated short film of the same name, this follows a young kitten named Ambrose who runs away and becomes a robber in order to avoid having a bath.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original pictorial paper covered boards. Boards bright. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with joint heads and tails starting, and boards firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
