This is a wonderfully written travel work by John M. Milling, in which the author spends a fair portion of his time fishing and hunting. Milling details his upbringing and his 'earliest sporting reminiscences', as well as his travels to Bermuda, India, and Ireland.

Contents include 'Early Days', 'Adolescence', 'Ireland', and 'Nowhere in Particular'.

Condition

Bound in half-calf on cloth boards. Externally, excellent, with just a bit of fading and wear to the spine and top edge of boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout, with light age-toning to margins.
