'The Rock' was a pageant play written by T. S. Eliot in 1934 for the Diocese of London, to raise funds for new churches.

Blending verse drama with choral elements, the play juxtaposes the enduring strength of the Church (symbolised by the "rock") with the transient nature of human institutions.
