The first edition of this work. A later issue in a cloth variant binding with pictorial onlay to front board; the first issue was bound in pictorial paper covered boards.
With 'story and illustrations by staff of Walt Disney Studio', this is a delightful collection of tales about the adventures of Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto, based upon the animated shorts "Pioneer Days," "The Delivery Boy," "The Castaway," and "The Moose Hunt."
Illustrated with monochrome vignettes throughout, which are stills from 1930s animations.
Former owner's inscription and small mounted illustration to front free endpaper.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding, with pictorial paper onlay to front board. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with light fraying in these regions. Light handling marks and rubbing to boards. Inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright, with handling marks and the odd spot throughout.
