Xavier Marcel Boulestin (1878–1943) was a pioneering figure in culinary literature and the first French chef to host a televised vookery show. His writing helped to introduce and popularise authentic French cooking.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, lovely. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. Very slight fading to extremities. Bookpalte from "Martin & Pamela Finch: Exlibris Gastronomique" to front paste down. One or two spots to endpapers. Dust wrapper, generally smart. Clipped. Slight age toning and soiling to wraps. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities resulting in the odd small chip and closed tear. Slight offsetting to inside. The odd slight spot, damp stain and handling mark. Five tape reinforcements to inner extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with one or two spots to fore edge and gutter.
