The Herries Chronicles feature noteworthy descriptions of the Lake District.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with good colour and only slight rubbing and just the odd mark to the boards. Minimal dulling to spine. A small nick to the bottom corner of the spine label. Slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Bumping to the fore edge, heavier to the back and front bottom corners and bottom edge, resulting in some loss of paper cover. Hinges tender.
