1933 The Dry Diet Cure
What Our Customers Say...
Description
Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce, With Dustwrapper
Second edition. Very scarce work. A study on the benefits offered by a "dry" or sober lifestyle, exploring the contemporary drinking habits of the standard man and discussing the health implications. Offering a new diet plan, with information on how to only drink water and examples of menus. Written by Josiah Oldfield, an English lawyer, physician, activist, and writer who was a prolific writer of popular books on dietary and health topics. He promoted his own variant of fruitarianism, which was virtually indistinguishable from lacto-ovo vegetarianism.
Condition
