Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece, and with a folding map to the rear. Collated, complete.

A fictionalised account of the life of Pocahontas, from her upbringing in Virginia amongst the Powhatan people, to her death in Gravesend, Kent.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Fading to the spine and to the extremities, heavier to the tail of the front board. Small chips to the front joint. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Spots to the fore edge. Minor edge wear to the dust wrapper, heavier to the head and tail of the spine, with a small chip to the front wrap to the fold to the front fly leaf. Spine is age-toned. Light handling marks to the wraps, including to the reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a few scattered spots to the first and last few pages.
