A delightful annual written to provide a guide to household shopping, with advice on what to buy and when to buy it, tips on organizing a larder, and numerous seasonal recipes tested by the author herself. Includes additional chapters on housework, first aid, dressmaking, and table decoration. Written by Aunt Kate, a pseudonym used to create numerous domestic and household guide books as well as cookery books.

Condition

In the original paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Sunning to the spine and board edges with the odd small mark. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with age toning.
