A three volume set. This set includes: ‘The Condition of the Workers in Great Britain, Germany and the Soviet union 1932-1938’ by Jurgen Kuczynski, ‘Death Pays a Dividend’ by Fenner Brockway and Frederic Mullally, and ‘Patents for Hitler’ by Quenter Reimann.
This set includes three works published by Gollancz for the 'Left Book Club', a strong left-wing publishing group created to promote their political views. The works, published during the Second World War, cover the conditions of workers in Germany and the Soviet Union, the war, and Hitler.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally excellent with fading to the spines, the odd minor mark to the boards, and bumping and fading to the extremities to 'Patents for Hitler'. Light spotting to the endpapers to 'Patents for Hitler'. Internally firmly bound with clean and age toned pages to all but 'Condition of the Workers'. Stamp to the title page of 'Dividend'.
