Publishers' Original Binding
A varied collection of cookery pamphlets and booklets, the majority of which are publications from ingredient brands including Borwick's, Cox's Gelatine, Whitworth's Sugar, Symington's and Pillsbury. Also with guides to specific types of cooking, including 'Cold Cookery', which encourages the use of an electric refrigerator, and 'Waterless Cooking' by Elizabeth Craig, which promotes the use of the "Milbro" water-less cooker.
Majority of the volumes are in the publishers' wraps. With 'Cooking by Magic' in the original cloth, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. 'Borwick's Cookery' in the original cloth-backed boards.

Condition
Majority of the volumes are in the publishers' wraps. With 'Cooking by Magic' in the original cloth, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. 'Borwick's Cookery' in the original cloth-backed boards. Externally, generally smart, with most notable wear being to 'Pillsbury', which is chipped around the edges. With handling and tide marks to 'International Cookery' and tape reinforced to 'Waterless', which is chipped to the spine head. Remaining volumes have moderate edge wear or handling marks to their extremities. Sunning to the spine of 'Food for the Future'. Dust wrapper of 'Cooking by Magic' is chipped to the spine head, with scattered spotting and sunning to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with any instances of scattered spots largely concentrated to the first and last few pages, or occasionally throughout. Ownership bookplate of ones Martin and Pamela Finch tipped-in to the majority of the volumes to the front endpapers.
