Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, seven colour plates, sixty-four monochrome plates and numerous in-text figures. Collated, complete.

'Rock Gardens' was written by A. Edwards, a photographer and botanist who was formerly in charge of the Kew rock gardens. With chapters on construction, suitable stones, ornamental grasses, propagation of rock plants, the paved garden, water gardens and much more. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, seven colour plates, sixteen double-sided monochrome plates, and numerous in-text figures. Collated, complete.
