What Our Customers Say...
Description
Illustrated, Original Binding, Original Source, Very Scarce
A fantastic 1930s photo album, following the outings and gatherings of an English family between the years 1933 and 1937.
The album consists of 24 pages, each with 6 photographs, making up 144 photographic images in total.
A large number of photographs depict the family in the grounds of homes they visit, with others depicting their motorcar - an Austin - and others showing them picnicking, visiting the seaside, on a boat, and in various gardens.
There are many humorous images of the family dogs, which include as least two Pekingese, and a miniature schnauzer.
The final six images depict the streets of London in 1937, with a view of a parade, and with the silhouette of St Paul's Cathedral in the background.
