In the original quarter cloth and paper covered boards, with paper spine label. 

Offering a pleasing selection of poems from Nobel Prize-winning Irish writer and literary critic, William Butler Yeats. Includes 'Byzantium', 'A Mediation written during Sickness', 'Three Movements', 'Quarrel in Old Age' and more. 

The Cuala Press was an Irish private press set up in 1908 by Elizabeth Yeats with the support from her brother, William. It played an important role in the 20th century Celtic Revival and published the works of such writers as Yeats, Lady Gregory, Colum, Synge and Gogarty.

Condition

In the original quarter cloth and paper covered boards, with paper spine label. Externally, very smart, with instance of fading to the rear board and minor warping to the front board. Light shelf wear. Small bookplate of one Richard Luckett to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with light spots to the first few leaves.
