With an inscription from the author to the title page, which says, 'To my young friend, Cissie Webster, whose gifted performances in my plays do so much to brighten them, R A H Goodyear, on a starry Christmas Evening in 1932'.
Illustrations include a frontispiece and one illustrated plate.
This is a work of children's fiction by R. A. Goodyear (1877-1948). This book is one of dozens of stories that Goodyear wrote that were set within a boys' school.

Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Minimal edge wear to the extremities with light bumping to the spine. A few marks to the boards as well as light fading to the spine region and to the margins of boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout, with light age-toning to margins. Author's ink inscription to title page.
