    A concise history of the developments of juvenile drama, an interesting look at the theatrical entertainment for the youth, and what was popular, including toy and puppet theatres.

    Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, seven colour plates, fifty-five monochrome plates, and in-text illustrations. Collated, complete.

    By A. E. Wilson, with a foreword by Charles B. Cochran.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing and marks to the cloth. Spine is faded. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Small amount of loss to the tail of the spine. Front hinge is a little strained but remains firm. Ink to the front paste down, ink and institutional label to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with scattered spots.
