A smaller atlas, intended to be inexpensive for educational purposes, with maps detailing the Roman Empire, Britannia, Gallia, Egypt, Asia Minor, Palestine, and more. Edited by George Beardoe Grundy, an English historian specialised in the military history of ancient Greece and Rome.
Condition
In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. A contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper dated 1936.
