John Donne was an English poet and scholar known for his use of metaphorical and sensual style in his sonnets, love poems, religion poems, &c. as well as for his sermons.
Condition
In the original publisher's paper covered boards, in the original glassine. Externally, smart. Light handling marks and age-toning to the boards and spine, a little heavier to the rear board. Glassine is torn, with a large tear to the rear wrap and a small amount of loss. Spots to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
