A very scarce catalogue, with charming vignette illustrations of products throughout.
The catalogue is divided into three sections: motor cycles, cycles, and sidelines.
Leo Swain was a prominent figure in Manchester's early motor trade industry. He founded Leo Swain and Company Limited, located at St John Street, Deansgate, Manchester, which played a significant role in popularizing motor vehicles and accessories in the region.
Beyond his business ventures, Swain was actively involved in the motor trade community.
Swain served as a director and vice-chairman of the society responsible for organizing the Manchester Motor Show and was a committee member of the local Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (S.M.M.T.) for many years.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth backed paper covered boards. Externally, very smart. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with board fore edges lightly age toned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages age toned due to paper type to page perimeters, but otherwise clean.
