Bookplate of Lloyd Vincent Almirall to the front paste down. Loosely inserted is a small slip stating 'Collection of Steve Forbes', the American publishing executive and politician who is the editor-in-chief of the magazine Forbes.

Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece.

Published in the UK as Thoughts and Adventures, this is one of the few works by Winston Churchill which has a different title in the US edition. 

This work comprises Churchill's essays and articles from the 1920s and early 1930s, on a wide range of subjects, including the First World War, his career and his hobbies.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart. Slightly faded to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
