Written and illustrated by Fred Richards. Richards was a student at the Newport School of Art and at the Royal College of Art in London. He was well travelled, illustrating scenes from the countries he went to, including Italy, Belgium, and Persia. His 1930 journey to Persia was his final trip before his death in 1932.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Fading to the head and tail of the spine. Only a few light marks to the cloth. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn, with small chips, mostly to the head and tail of the spine. Spine and extremities are age-toned. Light handling marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
