What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Uncommon, With Dustwrapper
The first edition of this uncommon work in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the very scarce original unclipped dust wrapper. Olive Higgins Prouty (1882-1974) was an American author, best known for her financial support of Sylvia Plath, and also her 1923 novel Stella Dallas. This work is the first novel of Prouty's popular Vale series, following Fabia Vale as she falls in love with Daniel Regan, against a background of class-conscious Boston society. It is an uncommon volume, in the even rarer dust wrapper.
