First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

McGreevy met T.S Eliot when he moved to London in 1925. McGreevy's move to London was to write for 'The Criterion' and many other magazines. 'The Criterion' magazine was created by T.S Eliot who was its editor for its entire run. First edition of this work. Held in original dustwrapper, which is price-clipped. This essay is part biography part analysis of Eliot's life.

Condition

In original publisher's binding and held in pictorial dustwrapper which is price-clipped. Externally, very smart. Bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is sunned to the spine. Patches of rubbing to the joints as well as to the head and tail of spine and joints. Small loss to the head and tail of spine. Gift inscription to the recto of front endpaper dated May 1942. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with just the odd spot to endpapers.
