His surviving works remain widely read due to their popularity as teaching tools and because of their personal or sexual themes. Translated by Horace Gregory, a prize-winning American poet, translator of classic poetry, literary critic and college professor. Illustrated by Zhenya Gay, an American writer and illustrator, best known for her children's books.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor wear only. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light wear and chipping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the panels with the odd small closed tear to the panel edges. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
