With chapters on hunting in Agra, Ambala, Baroda, Calcutta, Delhi, Muttra, Nagpur, Roorkee and many other locations. Other articles include the Pipal Pani Tiger, folk songs and legends of the Kanjars, the Kadir Cup, extracts from Indian Sporting Review, and many more.

Charmingly illustrated with vignettes throughout, and a frontispiece in colour.

Condition

In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper wraps. Externally, very good, with light soiling to the wraps and light edge wear. Bumping causing small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine. Light tidemarks to the endpapers and the first few pages of advertisements. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with the odd mark.
