With the original, unclipped dust wrapper.

Dated using Jisc from copies of the work held at the British Library.

Written by American author, Claude W. Sykes, who wrote under the pseudonym "Vigilant".

This informative work presents a history of German military aviation, with particular reference to the First World War. Sykes details the heroic battles of German aviators including Oswald Boelcke, Max Immelmann and the Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen.

Illustrated with six photographic plates and a frontispiece. Collated, complete.

Condition

Bound in the publisher's original cloth with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with light bumping to the extremities and the odd mark to cloth. Light offsetting to endpapers and pencil inscription to front endpaper. Light spotting to fore edge. Dust wrapper is sound with slight chipping, with loss to the front panel. The odd mark to wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, with light scattered spotting in places.
