This work was written by Constance M. Alexander and provides an account of the author's five week tour in Persia, compiled by their diary notes. 

In the publisher's original cloth. 

Undated, dated by the introduction and copies found at the British library.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with fading to the spine, a slight lean, bumping to the extremities, marks to the boards including a damp stain to the rear and very small closed tears to the head of the spine. Bookplate belonging to a 'F. Diba' to the front pastedown with offsetting to the front and rear free endpapers and minor marks to the endpapers. Front and rear hinges starting after the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with age toned and generally clean pages with light spotting to the front.
