This work was written by Constance M. Alexander and provides an account of the author's five week tour in Persia, compiled by their diary notes. 

In the publisher's original cloth. 

Undated, dated by the introduction and copies found at the British library.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with bumping to the extremities, very minimal fading to the spine, a slight lean and marks to the boards including a small damp stains to the front board. Bookplate belonging to a 'F. Diba' to the front pastedown with a bookseller's label and slight offsetting to the front free endpaper with light spotting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned pages and occasional light spotting. Spotting to the fore edge.
