With the publisher's very scarce unclipped dust wrapper.
Juliana Horatia Ewing was an English children's author, noted for her sympathetic insight into children's lives and her strong religious faith. This volume comprises the following of her stories: 'Three Christmas Trees', 'Christmas Crackers', and 'Old Father Christmas'.
Strikingly illustrated by Pamela Bianco, a British-born American artist who rose to fame as a child prodigy in the 1910s. With eight plates and numerous in-text illustrations. Collated, complete.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. With the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with slight rubbing and bumping to the spine head and tail. Dust wrapper is chipped to the spine head, with a couple small closed tears to the rear panel. Marks to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. With spots to the pastedowns, otherwise bright and clean.
