First edition. Signed with an inscription from the author to the front endpaper which reads "To remind you of exciting sea-adventures at Torquay. Roydon Freeman." A collection of humorous stories and serious tips for sea-travel, with chapters including: choosing cabins and tables, passenger types, some facts about ships, passing the time, ship sports, the happy traveler, seasickness, and many anecdotes of sea-travel. Written by Roydon Freeman, a British author.

Condition

In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head of the of spine with a split to the front joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Minor age toning to the endpapers. Author's ink inscription to the front endpaper.
