Including 'Love Among the Haystacks', 'A Chapel Among the Mountains', 'A Hay Hut Among the Mountains', and 'Chapel'.
This edition includes a reminiscence on Lawrence by David Garnett, in which he reflects on his meeting Lawrence in 1912, the year in which these stories were written. Garnett was the son of a publisher, who Lawrence approached with these stories. Garnett as his father, Edward Garnett, were friends of Lawrence, Edward being a valued mentor.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Spots to the spine. Scattered spots to the endpapers. Very light edge wear to the dust wrapper, spine is a little age-toned. Very small chip to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with scattered spots to the first and last few pages.
