Containing information and illustrations of the Old Fleet River, the Ashburnham Bell, Elizabeth Barrett's House, the King's Arms, Whitehall, Hogarth's Tower, the Monument, the Adephi Arches, Goldsmith's grave in the Temple, Charles Lamb's hosue at Edmonton, Cleopatra's Needle, the Roman Galley at Lambeth, the Savoy Churchyard and the remains of Old St. Pauls, amongst many others.
Illustrated with numerous full plate photographs of the city.
By Alfred Howarth Blake, a photographer also behind the work 'Things Seen in London'.

Condition
In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally, a little faded to the spine, which is a touch cocked. Ownership inscription to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
