Illustrated with sixty plates and vignette illustrations. Collated, complete.
Sandys includes discussion of his ancestors including Archbishop Sandys of the 16th century, William, 1st Baron Sandys of the Vyne, Sir Edwin Sandys, and traveller and poet George Sandys.
Condition
In a half morocco binding, with cloth covered boards. Significant rubbing to back strip, joints and board perimeters. Significant rubbing to back strip head. Light handling marks to boards. Tail of rear joint starting, with board firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean, with the odd spot.
