Bound in the publisher's original quarter cloth with pictorial boards.

Dated using Jisc, from copies of the work eld at the University of Oxford Libraries.

This interesting account presents the boxing reminiscences of the previous bantamweight champion of South Africa, Jack Hare. Hare recounts how he travelled all over the world, spending time with prestigious boxers including Jack Dempsey, with whom he is pictured with on the front cover.

With illustrations througout, presenting photographs of the sport.

With a foreword by Jack Dempsey.

Condition

Bound in the publisher's original quarter cloth with pictorial boards. Externally, sound, with slight rubbing. Discolouration to the spine, with splits to the joints. A tide mark to the rear board. Hinges are a little strained. Lacking the front free endpaper and first blank. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with a little age toning to the end pages.
