The thirteenth edition of this work. 

With the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper. 

Decorated with charming illustrations to each piece by E. H. Shepard, the English book illustrator who is best known for illustrating both 'The Wind in the Willows' and 'Winnie-the-Pooh'.

This volume comprises verses from 'When We Were Very Young', the best-selling children's poetical collection by A. A. Milne, set to compositions by Harold Fraser-Simson. Including poems such as 'Growing Up', 'Hoppity', and 'Missing'. 

Condition

In the original quarter cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with bumping to the extremities and marks to the borders. Dust wrapper is sunned, with chips to the spine head and tail. With two 4" closed tears to the front cover and fly leaf and a few other smaller closed tears to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and generally clean, with the odd handling mark.
