    First edition. Illustrated with a colour tipped in frontispiece, one monochrome tipped in plate, numerous vignettes and full page illustrations in both monochrome and full colour, with a blank colour illustrated diary to the rear. Collated complete. This volume features a collection of works on the subject of theatre, from a variety of writers including: Ashely Dukes, Constance Collier, and Sidney Dark. Exploring subjects such as German theatre, amateur theatre, critical theory, and much more. Edited by Charles B. Cochram, an English impresario known for his influence on the 'revue' genre of theatre.

    Condition

    In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light wear and chipping to the extremities. Sunning to the spine and panel edges with the odd small mark. Light loss to the head of the spine with the odd small closed tear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Light age toning to the endpapers.
