An anti-war novel, following a group of characters from the declaration to the armistice, through the London Docks to the shores of rivers in Africa. 

H. M. Tomlinson was a prolific British writer and journalist, known for his opposition to war. Among his most notable works are: Normal Douglas, Waiting for Daylight, and Gallions Reach.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, exceptionally bright, but with small mark and a touch of edgewear to back strip tail. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
