Aesop's Fables is a selection of fables, generally attributed to the Ancient Greek storyteller Aesop, who lived around 620 BCE-564 BCE. The fables are moral tales that guide in religious and secular aspects of life, following adventures of many different creatures.
Condition
In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spot to the fore edge. Dust wrapper has been neatly restored to the reverse. Wraps are age-toned and spotted. Light rubbing to the spine. A few marks to the rear wrap. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned with scattered spotting.
