Illustrated by French painter and engraver, Jean-Baptiste Oudry, known for his life-like pictures of animals and hunting. With a total of twenty-seven engravings, including one double-page plate.

Condition
Bound by Bumpus in half crushed morocco with paper-covered boards. Original wraps bound in to rear. Externally, lovely, with a little rubbing to the extremities and a touch of fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
