Sax Rohmer was the pen name of British author Arthur Henry Sarsfield Ward, best known for his immensely popular series of thrillers featuring the criminal mastermind Dr Fu Manchu. Blending mystery, adventure, and espionage, his books captivated early 20th-century readers and inspired numerous film, radio, and television adaptations.

In the publisher's original pictorial paper wraps. Back strip age toned, with minor closed tear to head of fold over front joint. Light spotting to text block fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages a touch age toned, with the odd spot.
