The first edition. The original paper wraps. George Bernard Shaw's commentary on the League of Nations. Fabian Tract No. 226 for the British socialist organisation, the 'Fabian Society'. This was Shaw's final Fabian tract. He describes the League of Nations as 'a school for the new international statesmanship as against the old Foreign Office diplomacy' but states that it has not yet become the 'Federation of the World'.
Condition
The original paper wraps. Externally, smart. Some creasing to the edges. A few handling marks and some offsetting to the front. The staples are rusted. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean.
