In the publisher's original cloth binding. First Edition. A collection of stories featuring the much beloved character Christopher Robin, taken from the works 'When We Were Very Young', 'Now We Are Six', 'Winnie-the-Pooh', and 'The House at Pooh Corner'. Illustrated with many in-text illustrations. Written by A. A. Milne, who is well known for his creation of the character of the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh. Illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard, an English artist who is known for his illustrations of anthropomorphic animals.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Bookplate of Noreen Mary Alison Cruickshank to front free endpaper. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper from 1931. Slight creasing to front boards. The odd slight handling mark to boards. Spine slightly faded and discoloured. Slight rubbing to boards and extremities. Slight bumping to extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. Hinges strained in places, but holding firm. Pages bright and clean with the odd spot heavier to first and last few leaves, gutters and fore edge.
