A first edition thus, collecting twenty-six previously published short stories which Blackwood considered to be his best.

This collection includes such stories as 'The Man Whom the Trees Loved', 'The Sea Fit', 'The Wings of Horus', 'The Little Beggar' and 'The Deferred Appointment'.

Blackwood's short story collection 'Incredible Adventures' was described by S. T. Joshi as 'the premier weird collection of this or any other century'.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head, otherwise externally excellent. Front hinge strained, and a little tender to head. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
