The first illustrated edition, published the year after the first edition.

Smartly bound in half calf with marbled paper to the boards. 

'Memoirs of a Fox-Hunting Man' is a notable novel following the youth of George Sherston, as he learns to ride and grows into a love for hunting.

Illustrated by William Nicholson with seven plates, and head- and tail-pieces. Collated, complete.

Written by Siegfried Sassoon, the First World War poet who was known for his bravery on the Western Front. Sassoon's name is not stated to the title page, his name appeared in later impressions.

Condition

In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, fine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
