Fräulein Else is a psychological novella by Austrian author Arthur Schnitzler, first published in German in 1924. The story is a dramatic interior monologue following a young woman, during a moral and psychological crisis while staying at a resort in the Italian Alps.
Condition
In the publisher's original quarter paper vellum binding with patterned paper boards. Externally, lovely. Slight bumping and rubbing to extremities, with slight rubbing to spine and boards. Spine slightly discoloured with age toning. One or two slight handling marks to spine and boards. Slight scattered spotting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. pages bright and clean with the odd spot to first and last few leaves.
