The first series, a 1933 reprinted new edition. This copy features clear descriptions of 394 wildflower species with 127 species illustrated in color and 150 in-text illustrations, offering a practical and visual guide for identifying common British wildflowers.
The second series, a 1935 reprint of the new edition, covers 349 species described, 130 species in color, and 140 in-text illustrations, with more varied and less commonly encountered flora.
The third series, printed in 1929. This volume focuses on 143 species, notably including all British orchids, with 64 color illustrations, 87 photographic reproductions, and 119 in-text illustrations.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, smart. Spines faded. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. One or two minor handling marks to boards. One or two scratches to the front board of series two, resulting in very slight loss to cloth. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with one or two spots to fore edges.
