The works present are as follows: The Warden Framley Parsonage I and II Doctor Thorne The Last Chronicle of Barset I, II, III and IV The Small House at Allington I and II. Barchester Tower I and II Autobiography Letter addressed to Mr Addison is loosely inserted to volume I of Barchester Towers. The letter is dated 1941 and discusses Anthony Trollope. This set is a limited edition, of five hundred and twenty five copies printed, 500 were for sale. Complete in fourteen volumes. Anthony Trollope's best known series were his Chronicles of Barsetshire. Thematically his work discuss political, social and gender issues as well as other topical matters.

Condition

In original green cloth with gilt stamping to spines. Externally, very smart with minor bumping to the head and tail of spine and to extremities. Small patches of damp staining to the boards of several volumes, particularly at the extremities. Small amount of rubbing to the head and tail of spines. Letter to prior owner loosely inserted to volume I of Barchester Towers. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. Some offsetting from endpapers. Pages are generally bright with scattered spots to the first and last few pages. The odd spot throughout.
