Including classic tales of 'A Fox and a Raven', 'The Hares and the Frogs,' 'A Fox and Grapes,' and 'A Man and a Satyr' among many others. Rendered into English by Sir Roger L'Estrange, an English pamphleteer, author, courtier and press censor best known for his polemical pamphlet 'An Account of the Growth of Knavery'. Illustrated after the designs of Marcus Gheeraerts, a Flemish artist working at the Tudor court, described as "the most important artist of quality to work in England in large-scale between Eworth and van Dyck".
