This work is a collection of the songs and lyrics from Beaumont and Fletcher's plays put to contemporary music. Beaumont and Fletcher were a dramatist duo who collaborated during the reign of James I. They wrote around fifty-five plays together. Their plays include 'Cupid's Revenge', 'A King and No King', 'Love's Pilgrimage', 'The Noble Gentleman', 'Thierry and Theodoret', and more. Put to contemporary music by E. H. Fellows. Fellows was a Church of England clergyman and musical scholar.

In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. With original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart with minor bumping to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is very smart. Minor chips to the head and tail of spine. Light tidemarks to the wraps. Small closed tear to the head of front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Minor offsetting to endpapers. Otherwise, pages are clean.
