A striking edition of the prayers of Robert Louis Stevenson, written at Vailima, a village in the capital of Samoa, known for being the location of the last residence of the beloved Scottish.
These prayers were first published in 1904.
Each leaf is illustrated in colours and gold after the original illuminated drawings by Alberto Sangorski.
With the former owner's inscription of M. P. Roberts, 1931, to the head of the front free endpaper.

Condition
In the publisher's original paper covered boards. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with losses of paper to back strip head and tail. Joint heads and tails starting, with boards firmly held. Small bump to tail of fore edge of front board. Inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
